Life with Fibromyalgia: My Story
It all began in the summer of 2012, when my gallbladder was removed. It
affected my liver and I got very sick. Because of it I’m often hospitalized. When I
have an attack on my liver, it becomes swollen, inflamed and the pain is
unbearable. It also causes me to be nauseated and I often throw up, and is
accompanied by diarrhea.
A few years later, in December of 2015 I began feeling painful muscle
spasms in my leg, and felt I must have a magnesium deficiency, so I quickly
grabbed some magnesium supplement on my way home. Unfortunately, by the
time I got home these painful spasms were everywhere in my body where muscle
can be found. The spasms were the size of a walnut, and I could even feel them on
my face. I was again returned to the hospital for diagnosis, but I was only tossed
around between doctors. Meanwhile, I couldn’t even walk for three weeks.
Finally, I was diagnosed by a neurologist with Fibromyalgia. Since that day
I now suffer with both Fibromyalgia, as well as my liver problems. I am often
hospitalized but only receive morphine, and feel the doctors don’t pay much
attention unfortunately because with fibromyalgia one does not “look sick”. This
has become a daily battle because often people don’t understand what it’s like to

My friend and I concluded that in order for me to be able to achieve better
healthcare that I need to move back to my home country of Hungary. But in order
to achieve this goal we’d like to ask for financial help to raise funds. If you or
