There are many Women and Children in Domestic Violence Shelters that are starting from scratch. You do not take anything when you leave. You run and I mean run. It is scary even though they are there to make you feel safe. You can never give the location away because you do not want any abuser showing up. While there you are constantly wondering if your abuser has gone to jail is when are they getting out and I pray God I pray they do not find me. There are tons of beds for Women and Children. Since you show up with nothing, They give you a bar a soap, shampoo, and a towel. These people at these shelters feel like Angels. Remember, Not everyone has a family to turn to, Some of us are on our own, Starting from birth and Adoption and not the best adoption either. Do not be so quick to judge someone else. Sometimes People are dealt with Aces and Kings and choices and others have two's and three's and choices, These were my choices. There have never been drugs in my life, I am a good person I just really want to get back on my feet and thought hey if people are helping fake women well then maybe they will help a real one. I had everything stolen and wanted to give up. I have had my belongings stolen, clothes, you name it.seen that people kicked you while your down not helped. PTSD is a real thing. Don't think you know what it is unless you have first-hand knowledge. I want to keep my faith in this world however it is getting really really hard. I am begging and asking for some help. Anything, please.
