UPDATE:  SO WELL IT IS OFFICIAL!!!(OF COURSE GOD IS IN CONTROL) BUT BARRING ANY UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES/ILLNESS, WE WILL BE ADOPTING A KIDNEY--LOOK FOR A NAME THAT KIDNEY CONTEST SOON! JANUARY 4 IS OUR GO DATE! GOD HAS BLESSED US WITH A RELATIVELY SHORT TIME ON DIALYSIS AND A DONOR WHO IS WORTH HIS WEIGHT IN GOLD. FOR NOW, I WILL ONLY SAY THAT OUR DONOR IS LOCAL AND IS LEO. WE ARE NOT PROUD ANYMORE, WE ARE GONNA NEED HELP AND WE WANT TO COVER OUR DONORS EXPENSES AS WELL. HIS LIFE DOESNT STOP, HIS BILLS STILL ACCRUE AND I WANT TO SHARE OUR LOVE AND SUPPORT WITH HIS FAMILY. THE LAST FEW WEEKS HAS BEEN AGONY..WAITING AND THEN WAITING.  WE HAD SOME SURGERY AND THE TUMMY BUG MAKE AN APPEARANCE BUT WE ARE GRATEFUL. WE ARE HUMBLED. AND WE ARE BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE. PLEASE SHARE IF YOU CAN SO THAT WE CAN COVER BOTH FAMILIES IN THIS TIME OF BLESSINGS AND JOY. WE WILL NOT DO TRADITIONAL/COMMERCIAL CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR. INSTEAD WE ARE GIVING AND VOLUNTEERING WHERE WE CAN. JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!

Please be encouraged to donate or help a cause you find worthy this Holiday Season. Also, please think about being a living donor. Share your spare! And a huge, huge shout out to SCSO who has been a lifeline!!

Blayne Badura suffers from IgA nephropathy, with end stage renal failure (I.e. His kidneys are shot). At the young age of forty-four, Blayne began dialysis, which he undergoes three times a week. Dialysis is only a temporary solution, and the body cannot survive on it forever.
The current outlook is that Blayne will finally be placed on the kidney transplant list within the next month, give or take. He has a rare blood type, type B. Unless a living donor comes forward, it could be five to six years before he receives a kidney.
Blayne's illness has not only caused him great physical and emotional stress, but financial stress, as well. There are countless medical bills to be covered; the mortgage needs to be paid, groceries need to be bought, etc. Blayne currently supports his wife, Traci; his high-school aged son, Hunter; and his daughter in college, Kaelyn.

Blayne Badura is a Deputy with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office in Seminole County, Florida. This fundraiser was started by those who love him because, no matter how proud or how strong Blayne may think he is, he cannot fight this battle alone.

Here's where you can help!
ANY financial donation is appreciated by the Badura family.
Also, if you have a kidney you're looking to get rid of, that would also be useful here.

Thank you, and bless you all. #GoBeyondGiving
