Trying to save my home
Donation protected
A couple nights ago as I slept while anchored off shore on Edmonds my anchor drug, and my boat (home) crashed ashore. It's a 1959 35ft Owens. Gorgeous boat. I spent my life savings to purchase just a little over a month ago. After hitting a rock, she took on water. I was able to get to shore by wading through water to shore. The engines are surely flooded. I have since patched the boat a low tide and she is ready to be taken ashore. Unfortunately it's not only expensive to transport her to my Grandfather's farm an hour and a half away, but I have not resources to really live myself let alone repair her. Like I said, I spent about every dime I had to buy her. She was my home. She was where my dreams lived. Anyway. I hate asking for anything, and believe that i should have invested in better insurance, or had more resources before getting into such an investment. Or a number of other things I could have done better. Anyway, if you wish to see her continue with me, I simply can't do it without you.
