Barton's Clean Water Fund

We are a group of kids in fifth and sixth grade at Clara Barton Open School in Minneapolis. We are concerned with the amounts of lead in our water and are looking to improve the situation. We are currently raising money to get three water bottle filling stations with fountains for our school.
We are close to are goal but we still need your help to reach our goal. The money raised will be used to buy the fouth water fountain and filters. We already have $3265 but we need $1200 more. We will also be using the money to buy a plaque for our former science teacher and the Green Team. They raised almost all the money and we would like to dedicate the 3rd water fountains to her. We need to have the money by Decenber 13th 2016. So that we can install the water fountains over winter break.
Any amount of money helps us get closer and closer to helping make water at Barton cleaner and better for all kids. It is important that kids have access to clean water and these machine do just that. Also water bottle filling stations helps reduce plastic bottle waste in the environment.
If this money comes in we will be so thankful to all of the donors who helped us reach our goal, and will be so happy that we succeded in helping our school. Barton is an incredible place that we want to continue to make better and better.
