Barney Trooper Klingensmith

Donation protected
Barney is a German Shorthaired Pointer who was found this winter frozen and starved in a barn, nursed back to health and now in his forever home!

On Tuesday, Feb. 21, however, Barney got violently ill in the middle of the night for the second time this month.  He was admitted to AVETS in Monroeville, PA (an emergency vet).  The vet is completing tests, but it could be chronic gastroenteritis or it could be something worse.  Barney's forever parents have voluntarily paid a lot to help him work out his issues and get better the last time he got sick.  This time, however, the vet made a light estimation of $2,000 and they're seeking your help.  Please consider donating to help cover Barney's medical bills.

AVETS won't allow direct funds to their facility due to policy, so this page is our only way of raising money.  If you'd like to call the vet to confirm, you may do so (412-373-4200).  Be sure to ask for Trooper (his nickname since his brother's name was too similar).

Thank you so much for donating to Barney's medical bills!  He's had a rough pup life up until now and his parent's want to give him the life he deserves once he's healthy again!  Your support will ensure this and his family will be furever grateful!
