Barmby Family Festival Annual Fundraiser

In the summer of 2018 we launched our new Community Interest Company simply named Barmby Children’s CIC.
Our aim is to provide our fabulous little local primary school in Barmby-on-the-Marsh, with the replacement funding it needs for extracurricular activities, trips and equipment recently lost through cut backs, as well as eventually supporting our other local children in need of financial help to purchase college books, laptops etc. To do this we hope to build two to three large annual community events that bring everyone together for the cause.
Last year, through tireless efforts and stubborn determination, we negotiated all the red tape, permissions and licensing applications to establish the first ever Annual Barmby Family Music Festival. Almost 250 people visited throughout the day to help it launch which was a miracle considering the little time we had left to advertise once the legalities were in place!
However, the 2018 festival cost in excess of £13k by the time we had set up the business, obtained licensing, hired stages, sound/lighting technicians, generators, performers, presenter, paramedics, bouncy castles, insurance, toilets, security, advertising etc. To make a profit in the early years will be challenging. Whilst the event predictably made a loss, as these events usually do at the start, it still provided us with a great start full of satisfied customers who will hopefully return and recommend us to others. Obviously this years festival on the 13th July costs come in pretty close.
My problem is that shouldering these costs out of my own pocket every time is going to prove a problem for me and working three jobs to pay for it is keeping me away from my family. Although my son has told me he's proud of me I really need a little bit of financial support to help get this event, and future ones really going. This has truly become something i'm determined to make succeed and build into something wonderful over the years. Eventually the events will pay for themselves so it is only start-up help we need while people get to know who we are. Hopefully then we can follow the summer festival up with amazing Christmas and Halloween events over time.
We are not asking for large donations or major sponsors, although obviously these are welcome too, just anything that will take a little bit of the financial pressure off of us. We have all the deposits paid but have at least 8k to go by the beginning of July. Ticket sales will cover some of this and I can raise a large amount of it out of my own income but help of any size would be so incredibly welcome.
We are currently updating our website with this years festival details so if anyone, anywhere with a big enough heart could reach into their pockets to help a very stubborn woman help build this and further events please do. You have no idea how grateful I am to everyone who has supported me so far. I have been overwhelmed by the kind words of folk over the last 18 months since this idea started.
