Meet Banjo, a 12-month old Cyprus Terrier cross that we have met whilst on holiday in Northern Cyprus. Banjo and her sibling were abandoned by their owner who left the country two months ago and left them both homeless. Her sibling was sadly run over. When we first saw Banjo she was in desperate need of some love and affection. She had matted hair, very large ticks feeding on her and needed a good wash.

Being the dog lovers we are, Dean and I had to do something to give this young puppy a better chance in life. She has taken to us as we have to her, followed us around while we are here, waiting for us every morning and evening, wagging her tail ferociously when she sees us. Her adorable nature and striking blue husky-like eyes have stolen our hearts.

We have therefore started the process to bring her back home to join our mad house of labradors and husky-mutes. As North Cyprus is outside of the EU, it is a little more complicated, lengthy and expensive than it otherwise would be. We are therefore reaching out to see if anyone is able to support us in bringing her home.

We have been lucky to find her a place in private boarding while all the necessary steps are taken, and had numerous tests and vaccines at the vets so that she can be accepted there, but of course this all costs money. We know it will be so worthwhile once we finally get her home at the end of the Summer.
Yours in anticipation.
