Bam's mestectomy surgery

Hi my name is Bam. I'm 11 years old. Back in 2007,  I was living on the streets until I was about 9 months old. That's when I found a nice man and he took me in and said he'd find me a good home. Which he did,... his. When I got to his home, he had three cats that were brothers that he found on the side of a country road in 2002 when they were about 8 weeks old. And a year later after I arrived, he took in his mom's cat. So then there was five.
Within the last 5 years they have all left me. Two of the brothers died in 2013, Tipper died of cancer and Trey died of pulmonary embolisms which cause blood clots. Baloo died in 2016 of a brain tumor and the last brother, Mowzer died earlier this year of kidney failure.

Which brings me to why I’m writing to you. I've been diagnosed with breast cancer and I require a quadruple mastectomy. I know my owner has been burdened with the cost of caring for the other four cats and had to make the big decision of whether to go through with my procedure or not. He has decided to give me a chance and move forward. My hope is that with your generosity ,  you can help defer the cost of the $800 surgery. If I should exceed my goal, the surplus will be donated to a no-kill shelter.
