Help Balor the Dane get better

This is balor, he is a two year old Great Dane soon to be three years old. Recently I had a look at him and he didn’t look the same around the neck area. Then I seen it. I found a huge mass on his neck/jaw area. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Of corse at that point I was getting nervous. The first thought of mine was “It’s  a tumor”. Right away I called the vet but they wouldn’t have been able to see him till Monday and mama couldn’t wait that long. So I took him to the emergency room. The news gave me chills. 

The doctor said it could be multiple things for it to appear but most likely is a tumor that could have been there before but was small. It could have gotten irritated from the recent medicines or from some force of some kind. I mentioned his skin allergies and she said it could also be a skin type of cancer. By the end of the examination she gave him some shots and medication. We will be going to the vet and That bill will be a pretty big one with the things that’ll be done to figure out what this is and to also take care of it.
