DONATIONS made to Mr Gareau's campaign will GO TOWARDS investigating other ALLEGATIONS OF ABUSE made by people without the means TO PAY FOR PROPER LEGAL REPRESENTATION.

In a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation article it was revealed that a former female McGill student is alleging to have been sexually assaulted by a senior male member of McGill's Faculty of Dentistry.

In a recent McGill Tribune article the survivor shares some of the emails obtained through an Access to Information request which suggests wrongdoing to the point of actively trying to cover up the victim's story.

Mr Gareau's TEAM OF LAWYERS have been actively ADVOCATING FOR THIS LATEST SEXUAL ASSAULT VICTIM, ENSURING that this incident has A PROPER INVESTIGATION. While McGill's Faculty of Dentistry continues to be under fire for its handling of the sexual assault complaint, an internal harassment report has found systemic problems within McGill's Faculty of Dentistry

DESPITE the outpouring of support for victims of sexual assault recently, Dental Students’ Society (DSS) President Ryan Siciliano  had this to say: “I know students very, very well, and we at the DSS, and me as the president of the DSS, and many other students involved don’t feel that we have a fear of harassment, or something more systemic than these allegations made by the two individuals...At this moment, [the DSS is] satisfied with the outlets that are currently being explored, and we won’t be taking any actions regarding the current allegations.”

In 2016, a Canadian Metis dentistry student living with a permanent disability, Mr Greg Gareau, was asked to repeat the third year of McGill Dentistry's curriculum. Part of his ongoing story can be found here .

In a McGill Daily article  Mr Gareau alleges to have also been the subject of discrimination but his harassment complaint was dropped by the McGill Harassment office. Mr. Gareau has filed a grievance against an administrative decision by McGill, which has required him to repeat the third year of his dentistry program. During this process the Dean of Dentistry has admitted that Mr Gareau was asked to repeat the year due to an "administrative error."

Mr Gareau has been given a date to be heard at the appeal level of the McGill Senate on April 18, 2018, past the deadline to have a hearing according to McGill's Grievance policy.  In Mr. Gareau’s grievance, he alleges HARASSMENT and DIFFERENTIAL TREATMENT by a senior male member of McGill's Faculty of DentistryThe SAME INDIVIDUAL against whom Mr. Gareau has complained was also FOUND BY THE PROVOST OF MCGILL to have HARASSED ANOTHER DENTAL STUDENT NOW DOCTOR

Time for Mr Gareau's campaign is limited but as time goes on he has been contacted by multiple McGill, Canadian and international health community members who allege to have been unjustly treated by educational healthcare institutions

Mr Gareau is from a low income family and is the first of his family to go to university. Tuition each year is $25,000 per year. The money raised will NOT be used to help Mr Gareau complete his Doctor of Medical Dentistry Degree so that he can achieve his dream of serving remote and rural Indigenous communities, a need which continues to go unaddressed by the healthcare system.

IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW HAS BEEN UNJUSTLY TREATED BY AN INSTITUTION PLEASE CONTACT [email redacted] and WE WILL SUPPORT YOU AND WORK TO BRING YOU BALANCED JUSTICE.
