Bailey's Move to the East Coast

Hello. My name is YBF91. You probably know me as the guy who does commentary videos on YouTube, or the guy who created the "popular" series The Logo Corner, but this page is not about me. This about my wonderful partner, Altavian-Knight 64! Follow the link and check out his content.

Altavian-Knight, otherwise known as Bailey, was able to get out of his abusive household and move up with his friend in Montana. I flew over to his home state to accompany him on this very important trip. For him, this represented a freedom he has not experienced prior, and I am glad he is in a safer place free from abuse and negativity. However, he cannot stay there forever. After much discussion, Bailey and I decided that we want to live together, and Bailey made it a point to say that he wants to live in my home state of New Jersey. Our goal at this point is to get him to my state and house him in an apartment where he can live with me full-time.

To those who were aware of previous circumstances regarding Bailey, you might recall someone else set up a GoFundMe for him. However, due to circumstances beyond my control (as I did not create it), the originator of the GoFundMe had to close it. I was under the impression the money that was saved for the GoFundMe was in a safe place, but we recently learned that the creator's parents have withheld the money, and so the creator cannot access it. I apologize wholeheartedly about these complex series of events unfolding. I want to make things right by proving to you all that I can run a tightly-controlled GoFundMe campaign without interference. The first step, however, is to set up money reserves, since all of them were depleted following that recent turn of events. This GoFundMe is not going to be the only money supply I will rely on. I am currently working as a tutor for around $30/hr and will be saving huge portions of the money I make tutoring for the purposes of the trip. This is merely a supplement to my income, which is why I set the goal at a reasonable limit. Nevertheless, the tutoring business comes with its own volatility, and having this money here will make things easier and more comfortable for Bailey and I as we consider the costs of the apartment and the initial down payments I may have to make.  In addition, Bailey currently has art commissions open, so he will do his best to raise money on his end as well.

Currently, I am planning on rescuing Bailey in around one to two months, and by the second month I hope to have at least 50% of my goal satisfied. This will allow me to pay for a deposit on an apartment as well as any other expenses I may incur during the application process. I cannot thank everyone enough for their philanthropy and support when the previous GoFundMe was around. All of you are fantastic people and I am so glad to know that there are folks out there who care about my and Bailey's story.  It means so much to me, in fact, that I will do my best to make sure the money is intact. There will be no setbacks or tricks. I have my own private account which only I can access. The money will be sent to that savings account where only I can touch it. All I hope for is your trust in this endeavor, and I promise I will deliver. I will offer updates throughout this process and will be the face of this campaign, because I am that willing to put my reliability and credibility on the line for my partner, who I know will be especially thankful for your collective support.
