HELP US SEND BAI TO SCHOOL
Bai is just 7 years old. Last month he lost his Dad to suicide. Without his Dad, going to a good school in the future is impossible. Bai’s Mum works in a garment factory, 12hrs a day, 6 days a week, earning only $120 a month.
Sending Bai to a good school where he will be able to learn English, as well as Khmer, will mean he will someday go to university. It will mean he doesn’t get into debt with loan sharks, or work as a tuk-tuk driver earning as little as $3 a day. It will mean he will never feel that his only way out is suicide.
All money raised will go directly to Bai’s scholarship fund. Once we have met our goal of $2000 we will publish a copy of his paid tuition fees, in accordance with our transparency policy.
