Backstage Disney Broadway Workshop

Backstage Theatre Productions, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) that provides teaching and performance in the dramatic arts for the community at large. The corporation is a performing arts company that focuses on producing live theatre serving performers from ages 4 to adulthood. All performers engage in skill building activities and participate in a variety of theatres genres, including dramas, musicals, comedies and various workshops. 

Students at the middle school to college level will have the opportunity to experience the magic of Disney as they participate in the Disney Youth Programs: Disney Broadway Workshop. The students will have the opportunity to participate in a 2 1/2 hour long workshop. During the workshop they will experience all aspects of a Disney Broadway production from mutliple levels, including: choreography, character development, and the behind the scenes role of stage managing and directing.

This is a once in a lifetime experience for these students. More than just teaching stage and acting skills, the Disney workshop will be a force for change that will remain with them for the rest of their lives.
