Anyone that knows me well enough knows music was always a big part of my life. To those that don't know I started producing music at 17 and it didn't take long until I was exploring every aspect of this passion. It gave me a way to express myself creatively and serve as an outlet for my emotions. There was something magical about creating something nobody else had heard before, it set alight a fire inside of me that will never die!
About 5 years ago I arrived home to find I had been broken in to, and my home studio had been taken, along with four years of audio productions and the countless hours of thought processes it took to create them. It broke me as a person for a long time. Although a tragedy, I let this become my story for too long and eventually it was just my excuse for not continuing to explore those passions.
As I've grown as a person I've become thankful for this experience as it sent me down a path where I would learn so much about myself and the opportunity build my character and gain perspective. I now feel as though I'm ready to explore these passions again and leave the past in the past, I know I was always the happiest when I had music in my life and I know I've procrastinated on investing in this area of my life with the fear that I could lose it all again. That fear doesn't have a place in my life anymore.
I'm asking for $500 to go towards investing in a decent laptop so I can run audio production software and once again explore the depths of which my creativity can flow. I've felt a hole in my life for too long now and it would mean the world to me to get a little help to fill it out, even the smallest of donations are greatly appreciated!
