Back to the Farm Fundraiser

Every year at Back to the Farm, we as a community raise donations for a worthy local cause. This year however, the cause is quite personal. Good friend of the brewery Brock Powell was diagnosed with cancer at far to young an age. After receiving treatment from the amazing staff at KGH, he is in remission and has started a fundraiser named "F%#K Cancer" for the KIDD 9 wing of the hospital. To help raise additional funds brewery owners Dan MacKinnon and Ben Vandenberg will be cutting their locks and donating them to the Canadian Cancer Society. If the goal of $2000 is raised, Ben has agreed to sport a full length mullet for 2 weeks styled by the amazingly talented Vanessa Whyte. 

How It Works: All donations collected online will be donated towards this cause.  In addition, draw tickets will be sold throughout the festival for $5 a piece. With each ticket purchased, you get a chance to be the person who shaves Ben and Dan's head. The draw will be done on stage and announced with the haircut taking place soon after.
