#BabyCenatiempo IVF Fundraiser
At some points in our lives, many of us have the desire to become parents. For us, we have strived for this the past couple years . Being a mother is something I have always known I’ve wanted to be and has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. Over the past couple of years, Keaton and I have silently battled infertility. It has been a very painful experience for both of us but we have known for so long that we want to be parents. Our hearts are so full and so ready to give it to our baby.
Our battle with infertility and testing has brought us to the heartbreaking reality that IVF is our best chance to conceive. Luckily, we have been working with a wonderful infertility clinic. Although IVF is intimidating, we are so thankful to finally have some answers and a game plan to get our little miracle here! Unfortunately, the realization that IVF may be our only shot to conceive is very scary as that carries an extremely heavy financial burden.
Right now, finances are our number one barrier to starting IVF as the amount is due 100% upfront. We have an estimated cost of $17,000-$22,000 for IVF-ICSI, 1 FET, medications and other related expenses such as general anesthesia. We do not have any infertility coverage so everything will be completely out of our pocket.
Although our infertility battle has been a very financially, emotionally and physically draining journey, we are beyond excited to finally have a real shot at becoming parents. We are willing to go through anything to get our miracle baby here! That being said, they say it takes a village to raise a child, but for us it will take a village to conceive ours! Throughout this battle, we are hoping to see a light at the end of this tunnel. Keaton and I are typically not ones to ask for help. We’ve always been very independent and hard working. We have worked so hard to get where we are today. Unfortunately, the financial challenges and costs we are facing at this time is a very heavy burden. At this time, we are swallowing our pride and embarrassment to ask for any donations to contribute to IVF.
