Theodore Francis Hudach

    This is the adorable Theodore Francis Hudach!  Theo finally decided to join Mike and Ashley's little family, (a few weeks late) on March 11th at 12:12PM --

     For anyone who has spent more than 5 seconds in the presence of Mike or Ashley, you would know what absolutely amazing people they both are - you also would know what a struggle the past few months have been for them. What should have been one of the most beautiful and healing moments in their lives together was instead full of tears and uncertainty as Theo was admitted to Danbury Hospital's NICU.
      Having difficulty breathing at birth, Theo required CPAP.  Chest X-rays, brain ultrasounds, and blood tests were preformed immediately, all ruling out many other terrifying health concerns.  Theo was ultimately transferred to Hartford Hospital's NICU to rule out the need for emergency bowel surgery.  Being his parent’s son, this determined and strong boy proved the doctors wrong, yet again. With bowel surgery off the table, as well as being cleared by the large list of other specialist (including ophthalmology and genetics) facial reconstruction surgery was sadly placed in his future due to his jaw structure and deviated septum. Unfortunately, this surgery cannot take place until 4-6 months of life, thus little Theo must remain in the NICU, on constant tube feeds and surveillance, until he reaches the age for surgery or unless he defies the doctors prognosis- again.  Little Theo is currently working his hardest on bottle feeding and speech therapy with the NICU team.
     This page is to show Ashley, Mike and Theo that they are not alone. It takes a village and a village they have. Every dollar counts towards helping this new young family with some of the financial burden they face from the difficult arrival of this cute peanut.
