Otto was the only child of two loving parents, Roxane and Otto III, who tragically lost his life this past weekend. He was a bright, intelligent, and mischivious toddler, that had the world at his feet.
Otto had a tragic accident on Friday April 7th, 2017 that left him on life support at at community hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. After being transported to the Medical University of South Carolina Children's hospital for further evaluation and treatment. He fought so hard for his little life but sadly he never responded to all of the best medical treatment that could be provided. Both of his parents made the heartbreaking decision after a two day fight to let their little one go to the loving embrace of God; knowing that they had done everything possible to give him the best fighting chance. Deciding to withdrawl life support is a decision that no parent should ever have to make but his parents knew that it was time. Baby Otto passed late in the night Sunday April 9th, surrounded by his parents, grandparents, and those that loved him.
No parent ever plans on having to bury their child and as the family of two working class parents, funds for his memorial and medical costs are limited. We are trying to raise money to help pay for funeral arrangements, medical costs, and travel arrangements for out of state family memebers.
