Baby Mia Ann Threatt
Donation protected
Megan and Darrin Threatt were expecting to meet a healthy beautiful baby girl, Mia Ann Threatt within the next week. As Mia was due May 3rd, 2018. On April 19th, Megan and Darrin attended what would be their last doctor visit and ultrasound seeing a healthy squirmy baby Mia at 38 weeks gestation. On April 23rd, Megan went to urgent care for some general concerns unrelated to the pregnancy when she was informed they could no longer locate baby Mia’s heartbeat. For over 24 hours, Megan was induced and labored, praying and pleading all those hours that somehow a cry would emerge at the end. She delivered Mia on the evening of April 24th. A healthy, beautiful, 7.5 pound baby girl. However, Mia bypassed her time here on Earth with us and was welcomed into our Savior’s arms upon her arrival. No amount of words, money, or gifts can take away the complete agony and trauma this situation has left these parents and their family in. However, with this completely heart breaking event comes a lot of unforeseen burdens. Including the medical, funeral, and living expenses Megan and Darrin are now attempting to plan for during their leaves from work and their own personal recoveries.
