Baby McCoy and Tilley Family

McCoy Daniel Tilley was born at 25 weeks (15 weeks early) on January 7th, 2019. Weighing in at 1.5lbs at birth, he is facing a very extended stay in the amazing care of University of Washingtons NICU. Little McCoy is a fighter, and continues to make small improvements every day. His loving family, Letha, Chris, and proud big brother Henry, are dedicated to being by his side during his lengthy hospital stay. Letha had developed HELLP syndrome, which is a life-threatening pregnancy complication, usually considered to be a variant of preeclampsia. The only treatment to save mamma and baby was emergency delivery. Because of McCoy’s long road ahead in the NICU, the family will face considerable financial obstacles
Baby McCoy may require health care that isn’t covered by insurance, hotel and travel costs for the family, additional childcare for Henry, additional transporting fees to another hospital closer to home, and other unforeseen expenses. Additionally, the family will be on a single income while Letha recovers herself. As their circle of friends and family, let's help ease some of the stress and financial uncertainty that The Tilley family are undoubtedly facing.
