Baby Macy's Heart Journey

Macy was born on 12/06/2018 at 7lbs 12oz. Everything was perfect when she was in my arms, she immediately started breast feeding and loved her daddy holding her. Visitors came with balloons and flowers but then we got a pair of unexpected visitors. Two cardiac doctors came in with a piece of paper with a picture of a heart on it. They explained that Macy has a heart defect called Tetrology of Fallot. Every word after they said it required surgery or else there could be fatal results...was a blur. After a lot of crying and praying we are starting this journey to helping our baby girl be as strong as she can. She could have surgery in the next week as a temporary measure to open a valve or in the next 3-6 months depending on her progress, which would be the "big surgery" until she is an adult. Any donation to help us pay medical expenses, bills, childcare for our 2 year old will go such a long way so we can get Macys heart fixed and be there for her every step of the way!
