Kristal desperately needs your help.
Kristal Barrett-Stuart, founder of the Sparkle Project and a real-life angel to many, has been diagnosed with Late Stage Neurological Lyme Disease. She is suffering from a plethora of debilitating symptoms and needs strenuous and time consuming treatment. And because the Canadian Health System does not cover it, she will need to journey to Germany to get it.
This is a chance for Kristal’s community to give the love she has shared so freely with them back to her ten times over. We are looking to raise $40,000 for her treatment costs. Please help.
Kristal is an amazing woman with a wonderful husband and two young children. She is the founder of The Sparkle Project, an organization that enables young girls to find their confidence and builds their self-esteem. She is a well-known champion for community causes and a beautiful soul who has overcome many adversities to live well and care for others.
Three years ago, she noticed a red "bulls-eye" mark on her neck. She Googled what she was experiencing, and it came up as potentially a bite that could cause Lyme Disease. Kristal addressed her concerns with her doctor and was wrongly told that Lyme disease does not exist in this part of Canada. Had she received the proper diagnosis and treatment right away, she would not be suffering right now.
Kristal and her family are hurting. In Kristal’s own words:
“My symptoms now include: Severe pressure/migraines in my head (I never even had headaches before), arthritis in my hands and feet, severe back pain, lymphomas in my abdomen, electric shock type pains in my nerves, numbing in my arms, spine and legs, a very stiff neck, anxiety, dizziness, organ pain under my ribs, chest pain, heart palpitations, difficulty swallowing (I live on smoothies, protein drinks and green drinks these days and have lost 25 pounds because eating is too hard to either swallow or chewing creates more pressure in my head) extreme fatigue, digestive issues, severe brain fog, food sensitivities, light sensitivity, blurred vision, jaw pain/TMJ, muscle weakness, depression (even though I really hate to admit this- it feels like I am grieving myself) and the list seems to be growing everyday!”
In a bid to reclaim her health, Kristal will have to go to Germany for two weeks for intensive treatment. The facility and treatment will cost $25,000.
Right now, she is doing IV treatments that cost $1,200 per month. She also has to purchase, with her own funds, expensive supplements to support her immune system and help with nerve pain.
Our fundraising goal of $40,000 will cover costs for the treatment in Germany, IV treatments, supplements, and whatever else will aid Kristal.
Please know that whatever you contribute is extremely appreciated. Right now, we need Kristal to feel loved so she can generate the beautiful energy she needs to fulfill her purposes in life.
