Baby Joseph James

Baby Joseph was born via emergency c-section on Saturday, January 28th, two months early. Mom, Heather, had already been in the ER a few days earlier for contractions, which subsided, but her water broke  that Saturday morning, on the 28th, and off to the hospital they went.  Hoping to delay birth through meds and medical technology, she made it through the day alright, but late that afternoon she started having more intense contractions. She was dialated 5-6 cm, and the baby was breech. Baby Joseph came into the world around 9:20 pm. Thankfully he was breathing on his own and looked really healthy, considering.

The doctor said he will be in the NICU for at least 7 weeks. We know anytime a family goes through a medical emergency and a fairly long-time hospital stay is required, the expenses can be off the charts.  Heather will be off work for quite a while with the baby and dad, Heath, recently lost his job, but is pursuing possibilities. Baby Joseph also has a one year old brother and two sisters at home.  Any donations to help Heath and Heather through this rough time, emotionally and financially, is so very appreciated, from the bottom of our hearts.  Please pray for them and that Baby Joseph will grow healthy and strong.
