Baby Exton

There's no other way to explain what's going on better than mama, so here is her update from today! Well Today was another intense day
We found out today that Exton has a 3rd hole in his heart so this changes the urgency of his open heart surgery ! Exton failed his swallow test , which means he will be on continuous NG feeding tube meals , till heart surgery!! Our cardiology team is meeting now and we will find out in the morning when his surgery date is ... from what we understand it could be next week or this month but Exton will not be discharged till we have the surgery so we could be here for a while ! This is so bittersweet for us one, because we were told his surgery would be in a few months and two because his heart is causing all the feeding issues so hopefully having the surgery sooner will fix all his other problems but by having the surgery sooner will probably mean longer recover time ... we are looking at a possibility long stay which for us is good and bad at this point ! Every one please keep our entire family in your prayer we are all trying to get better prepared for the big things that are about to happen for our little man ! Our hearts are heavy with worry but filled so much with love and joy from everyone , we love y'all very much thank you so much for all the love and support !
