Baby Drop Mission Trip to Kenya

Family and Friends, as most of you know, Dana and me and the fab'rik team have been taking life changing trips to Kenya for many years now. God has worked in truly amazing ways over these trips and the people ofKarogoto (where we've served in the past) have made unbelievable progress and our time there is coming to a close.
Our upcoming 2017 trip is going to be different in a spectacular way. We see a wide open door before us, and it's leading us down the road to starting an orphanage! I attached a picture of our daughter Asher whom we adopted more than two years ago from Ethiopia. It is almost unimaginable that this precious little girl almost didn't make it past 6 months old, abandoned on the side of a dangerous road with absolutely no ability to defend herself from anything or anyone. God's love and mercy came through and she was discovered by police and ultimately delivered into our arms. The story could have been so different.
This story line is all too common as families are unable to care for their babies and abandon them to the streets or leave them in hospitals as there is often no organized program to help. This is where Project 82 Kenya
comes in! God has orchestrated an amazing partnership for us with this organization which rescues and fosters orphans and other vulnerable children in Kenya with the long term goal of getting them back into a stable, loving, forever home. We've already partnered with them through our Asher line, and we now get the opportunity to travel overseas with them and witness the amazing things they're doing to bring hope back to these precious lives in Kenya. There are so many things we want to accomplish through this trip, but our number one goal is to immerse ourselves in what Project 82 is doing, get out there on the front lines and learn more about how we can strengthen this partnership.
Now for the details... We will be leaving Atlanta on the evening of Thursday, February 9th, and returning the afternoon of Saturday, February 18th. We are going to be spending most of our time serving in the infant rescue centers to really understand the process, the needs, and how we can most effectively help. We will be back with a plan to partner with Project 82 and help these infants get to an environment that will allow them to develop into who God created them to be. We would love your support! This year, the money we raise will come directly to us and we will be writing a check to Project 82. I believe we have the ability to ask Project 82 to issue a charitable donation acknowledgment to anyone who would like to contribute but I will confirm this. If it is in your heart to help with this mission we would love for you to be a part of it. God Bless!
