Baby Desiree's Heart

As some of you may know, our baby girl was diagnosed at the 20 week ultrasound with, "Tetralogy of Fallot with Absent Pulmonary Valve". Since then, we have been traveling back and forth to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn, every few weeks to monitor her heart and growth. We have met with a surgeon and He expects her to need open heart surgery within a week after birth. The surgery will be to put in a pulmonary valve. Since the PV won't grow with her, it is expected that she will need at least 4 open heart surgeries by the time she is in her teens. Because of this, Tim has had to take off several days of work to take me to Mayo for appointments and will need to take off a few weeks in November for her first surgery. I am delivering Baby at Mayo Clinic at 39 weeks and will be relocating to Rochester Nov 2nd, when I am 37 weeks pregnant, in case I go in to labor, as they will most likely need to take her to the NICU immediately after birth. Because of all the traveling, and days of work Tim has had to miss, it has been hard for us to pay our monthly bills. I can't imagine how hard it's going to be in November when Baby's surgery will be. It's added a lot of extra worry and stress in the toughest time of our lives.
