BABY DASH'S OPEN HEART SURGERY

Oriana Reyes has been blessed with opportunity to be a mother. Little did she know that her wonderful baby boy would be born with William's Syndrome, which not only comes with developmental delays but many health issues that he will endure for the rest of his life. Baby Dash came into the world at 36 weeks with what they thought was a simple heart murmur that turned out to be Artery Hypoplasia with some narrowing on the aortic side. Due to his chromosomal syndrome, Dash also had two hernias, one of which had to be removed when he was just two weeks old. Oriana always has a full schedule for Doctors appointments and Dash is always having issue after issue so she could no longer work. We were told he would need open heart surgery done in Albuquerque which is now a few hours away. At 6 months of age, he had to go to Albuquerque April, 10th for a cath lab . Unexpectedly, the surgeon informed Oriana that he will be getting open heart surgery tomorrow the 12th.

Dash has already endured more than most of us have at such a young age. Unfortunetly, the Dr's here in Las Cruces, will refuse to treat him even for the more simple issues. The immediate open heart surgery will put strain on Oriana's finances. She has full support from her family and friends, but she does not have the finances to get through this. She will need to stay there for a few weeks. There was not enough time for planning. We ask for anything you can help with so that she can continue to be there for her son, the way a mother should.
