Baby Birdie’s Heart Surgery fund

Our sweet niece Birdie was born with a heart defect called Ventricular Septal Defect. Essentially it was a large hole in her heart. Baby Birdie underwent a heart surgery two days ago and is having some complications along the way. With some of the best heart surgeons in the country, they were shocked by the condition of her heart. The doctor said it was one of the largest holes he has seen and that her heart was like Swiss cheese with many other holes that they had to close. Birdies surgery was much more difficult and took much longer than anticipated leaving her with some complications and still future unknowns. If you know Jen and Eric you know how much they give to others and how no one has a bigger and more giving heart than them. Between high deductibles (which will need to be met again In January), unpaid time off work, trips back and forth from the hospital, and unforeseen expenses that are adding up, we’d love to ease their financial burden and have one less thing for them to worry about.
