PLEASE HELP BUTTERCUP

Buttercup is it beautiful small sized, 1 year old, fawn English Bulldog. This darling girl has not had a good start to her young life. She was found on the side of the road by a good Samaritan who called us and pleaded for help to save her. Upon meeting her, we were struck by her wonderful temperament and incredibly sweet personality. However, we quickly realized she needed immediate medical attention. Buttercup was bleeding from her abdomen area and had what looked to be part of her insides coming out. Although we were not prepared to take on anything of this nature, we knew if we didn’t act immediately, sweet Buttercup would die. We rushed her to the emergency vet where they determined she had been crudely given a cesarean section by some unknown person who then stitched her up with fishing line, and dumped her on the side of the road. This kind of abuse is just shocking to us for any animal, but to think they could do this to Buttercup is just inconceivable. We had to try to save this girls life, so we decided to move forward with her very delicate and grueling surgery. It took them 3 and a half hours to put Buttercups insides back in place and thankfully, no vital organs had been hurt and she was not septic. She is now resting comfortably for the moment after her surgery was completed yesterday. Buttercup will need to stay hospitalized for at least 3-4 more days to monitor her closely to be certain nothing becomes infected and to be sure that she has a fighting chance to live. 
As a very small foster based rescue foundation that works solely on donations, we were completely unprepared to take on such a large medical case. However, we just could not let this beautiful girl simply die and never know love and kindness from humans or to have a forever home to call her own. PLEASE find it in your hearts to donate to help Buttercups large veterinary fees to save her life. Her current bill is $6832 but will increase to $7482 with two more added days of hospitalization and two additional days may be needed.
