I am excited to be sharing with you some fabulous news! I have been selected as an official State Finalist in the Miss Maryland USA Pageant. Have you everheard of the MISS TEEN USA, MISS USA or MISS UNIVERSE
pageants? These pageants are a Donald J. Trump and NBCUniversaljoint venture. They are the most prestigious pageants in the world.This is a chance of a lifetime for me and I am asking you for your support in this unique opportunity.
If I happen to be crowned the new Miss Maryland USA, I will
represent Maryland in the nationally televised Miss USA pageant as
seen on NBC television. I will also represent Maryland during my reign by making numerous appearances throughout our state, by helping the community, local businesses, and charitable organizations, as well as appearing at special events, grand openings and parades.
A sponsorship program is incorporated into the Miss Maryland USA
state pageant. Your sponsorship is tax deductible as an advertisingexpense*. Would you like to be one of my sponsors as I represent ourgreat state and pursue a life-long dream?
Let Me Tell You A Little About Myself !
My name is Sarah Ruth Porter and I am a twenty-one year old
student studying economics and sociology at Howard University. Some of my proudest achievements include:
•Becoming fluent in Portuguese while living abroad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
•Member of the Abram Harris Economic Society
•Special Training in Dance, Gymnastics.
My most recent accomplishment was being selected as a State Finalist in the MissMaryland USApageant to be held in October/November at the Bethesda NorthMarriott. The Maryland pageant system is one of the premier state pageants in the
United States and I am proud to have been selected from among the hundreds ofapplicants that were processed.
This kind of competition is an excellent experience. I am confident that I can do well,and that it will lead to many opportunities for my future. If I do become Miss MarylandUSA 2015, I will represent the state and compete for the national title of MISS USA 2015!
I have contacted you because I am hoping that you will participate with me! Yes, you can participate and get some recognition for yourself and your company by being one of
my sponsors. The sponsorship fee is $995.00, and you may contribute all or a part of it.
My top sponsors will be recognized in the Official State Program and in press coverage.
The sponsorship is necessary to help cover the costs of the pageant weekend, such as hotel rooms, meals for three days, production costs, etc.
I sincerely hope you will choose to celebrate this event with me while receiving some valuable advertising and community exposure for yourself.
