Help Steer our Steady Eddy Truck to Be Straight (Again) - Repairs Needed!
Thank you for your continued support of the ReCONNstruction Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit with the goal of helping keep building materials out of landfills, since 2003. Our workhorse 24' truck that we use to pick up donations, and make deliveries is in desperate need of repairs to keep it steering straight, to the tune of about $2,000. It is currently off the road until it can be repaired. Sales are down this summer, and as we strive to be completely self-sustaining, rather than on relying on grants, we are in need of a little boost at the moment.
Our organization not only keeps materials out of landfills, but we also strive to do good by converting donated and salvaged items into charitable dollars to help support other non-profits, such as the Habitat for Humanity, Susan G. Kimen Cancer Foundation, the New Britain Chapter of Rebuilding Together, and hundreds of others.
We operate our business with a generous heart. We appreciate the public's continued enthusiastic patronage.
