CARLA'S 2nd FIGHT AGAINST CANCER

They say tomorrow is never promised and life can change at the drop of a hat. After beating cancer 5 years ago and having a double mastectomy, my friend Carla at 37 has just been diagnosed with a recurrence of HER2+ breast cancer and this time has 2 tumors in her clavicle area one of which is a lymph node, they also found a spot during her bone scan that is on her skull just behind the left eye socket that they are monitoring. Carla going to have to fight for her life once again.  She will have a year of Chemotherapy treatments every 2 weeks, along with surgeries and radiation. They will not be able to remove the tumors at first because they are deep and surrounding major veins and arteries and they are shrinking them with 4 treatments Adriamycin aka (the Red Devil) 24 hours after each treatment she will be given a bone marrow simulator shot to boost her white blood cells, the shot itself its painful but the side effect causes extreme bone and muscle pain as her white blood cells regenerate. Her treatments are as follows..
1st-4th treatment: Red Devil, Cytoxan
5th-16th treatment: Taxol
1 year: Herceptin, decadron

Carla is a loving sister, daughter, Aunt, and friend.  For those of you that know Carla, you know what a happy, outgoing, funny, gracious, and compassionate person she is.  She is always smiling and laughing and is known for leaving a permanent impression with whomever she encounters. For those who don't know her, you are her friend too because she is kind and accepting to everyone around her.  It is very typical of her to meet a perfect stranger and spend time chatting with them as if she has known them for years.  Her positive attitude is contagious and she genuinely enjoys making others happy.  Carla is always there for everyone else and never hesitates to help someone else out.  So now we ask that you please help Carla.

Carla lives with a roommate and supports herself and we have been doing our best to support her financially. She hasn't been able to work and will not be able to until treatment is over as much as the side effects from chemotherapy have left her completely wiped out most days, along with her immune system being low and not being able to be around the children she nannies. We are relying on friends and perfect strangers to please help.  We've created this campaign to help ease some of the financial burden placed upon Carla at this time.  Carla already has so many worries; bills and money should not be one of them.  Please help ease this load. 
On top of all this she also has rheumatoid arthiritis and degenerative osteoarthritis.  She has to inject herself with enbrel once a week for joint pain and stiffness for the rest of her life.
