Christopher CAN-cer-vive

As you all know Christopher was diagnosed with stage IV Melanoma in August last year. Thanks to wonderful doctors, treatments, and natural supplementation we have made it this far. The latest scans showed some progression in the brain and on the spine. We are now faced with a difficult decision on what to do next. The recommendation is immunotherapy where they Rev up the immune system to kick it into over drive. The potential side effects are worrisome. We want to be able to keep his body strong whether we choose immunotherapy or continue on the path we're currently on. Unfortunately, finances have run dry. Thanks to amazing family and friends we have made it a year with being able to pay our bills and to buy groceries. Chris is on disability but it just barely covers our rent. Since he has lost his entire left peripheral in both eyes he's unable to drive. When we start these treatments there will be no way I can be away from him as I will be watching him like a hawk for any side effects so we can hopefully stay on top of them. I also need to be here for our three kids. Any little bit can help us in so many ways. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated! Cancer is going down!
