Fight for Lucy

Lucy needed a home, so was adopted by a family a few days ago. Today, she fell off a back step outside and broke/fractured her front right leg in two places. She was immediately taken to Plains emergency vet. She had xrays taken. She has a fracture in her elbow and her growth plate. The family that adopted her can not afford the vet bill, so they were going to surrender her to Blue Chip. This is when loving people stepped in, paid the vet bill, picked the dog up and brought her to our house. She has an appt with Dr. Ramsey at Dunmore tomorrow at noon.

Plains estimated the needed surgery to cost between $3,000-$5,000. Obviously I do not have this money laying around, nor does anyone I know. This is when I thought to reach out via GoFundMe because this dog deserves the surgery needed to ensure she lives a normal, long, healthy life with all FOUR legs attached. 

Please if you can donate even $5 or just share this so we can move forward with her surgery, everyone involved would GREATLY appreciate it.  We will know more about what the next steps are and what the costs will be tomorrow after her appt. I will update this as soon as I can and as soon as I have more information!

Lucy is roughly 2.5 months old & an absolutely cuddle bug!
