Illness has taken everything

If you're taking the time to read this I thank you. We are in a fight against
mental illness and right now its stealing my husband and my home.

The last year and half my husband Kirk has been in the fight of his life with a disease unfortunately nobody but him can even really begin to describe.

My kids and I have had to sit back helpless and watch while in the last 18 months this disease has taken his health, his self worth, his job and his ability to do even the most basic things to function as a husband and father.

I have done everything in my power to get us through this while struggling to get him all the help he needs in order to get better.

We never thought we would be in this position and its one of the most frustrating and confusing situtations we have ever been in and now I find I am trying to keep a roof over our heads while keeping my husband from giving in to this awful illness. Things have gone from bad to worse quickly and I need help.
