Kyle came up with the slogan Team Kyle the first year (2008) we raised money to show our support for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.  I thought the title was appropriate for this campaign, as this time, we are raising money for Kyle.

Kyle was diagnosed with Crohn's disease when he was 13 years old.   He was so sick and malnourished that he spent three months in and out of the hospital, mostly in.

Kyle and his sister Nicole who is 4 years younger but just about the same size at this time.

That was 12 years ago.  Kyle has been lucky enough to have not been hospitalized for his disease since that time.

In 2016, it was discovered that he had another stricture (narrowing in his intestines).  His gastroenterologist put Kyle on HUMIRA.

July of 2017 Kyle and Krystal purchased a home together.

August of 2017 Hurricane Harvey struck.    Their home was in a 100 year no flood zone but Harvey was brutal, they took on 18 inches of water.  As of today, Kyle and Krystal both work two jobs so that they can save up the money necessary to finish putting their house together.

April 3, 2019 Kyle had his second resection.  Thankfully, the majority of his medical expenses are covered.

Kyle after surgery - (no, he does not know I took this picture yet)

He is an hourly worker and does not have disability insurance at his full time job.  At present his surgeon is projecting  April 25th as the date that he can return to work.   For Kyle that means no paycheck for three weeks.   Krystal and he have worked so hard to stay on their feet after the flooding of their home.  They are both hardworking dedicated young people.  It is his father, Brian Lambert and my prayer that through Go Fund Me, we can raise enough money so that they don't have to struggle any more than they already do.

Any funds donated will be used by Kyle to pay any outstanding medical bills and to help cover his monthly bills during the three weeks that he does not work.
