disaster relief/moving expenses/damages

I was hoping I never had to do this, but the time has come when prayers and our justice system just isn't enough. I stayed strong and did everything I could to provide for my children and 4 legged family. Regretfully, I thought it would still be a while off. But over the last couple months we were hit with a big financial burden where the justice system failed us. We moved to west deer Twp for a fresh start, (after having to sell our home of 17years) unfortunately we were not only conned by a slumlord who took us for over $20,000 (wiped out everything I've saved up) everything this evil man has done is and was illegal but yet he still wins! FYI TENANT LANDLORD ACT IS LIKE A PFA- JUST A PIECE OF PAPER!
My girls are devasted having to move again we love the community and will continue to support and participate in the community always! We lived here since April of 2018. From the beginning I had to clean the house which was not cleaned surface only. Alot of debris left for us to try to rid . I've asked for repairs , notified the landlord of all the dangerous things that needed addressed asap. We were ignored till December of 2018 when I excercised my rights by contacting the health department as well as the twp building inspector. He then retaliated with an eviction when the $10,400 (5 x’s the rent illegal) he charged me to rent the home exceeded future personal escrow I had until repairs were made.
We are being forced out of the house by August 21st, since his so called lease was not legit. We finally found a home but not where we wanted to be but we have no choice. One step at a time.
IAM asking for help with moving expenses and deposit for the new rental home to call a safe and carefree home. I'm a single mom with a son who has epilepsy and other health concerns, as well as 2 school aged girls, service dog and emotional support dog ! Yes I have my hands full but I'm a fighter but this fighter is hanging on by a thread at this point in time.
We've lived with an infestation of mice in the walls and throughout the house the entire stay, water coming in through ceilings , doors, walls , basement/garage, attic and several other areas of the home,(we've lost personal belongings as well as sentimental irreplaceable memories, extremely high heating bills, and electric. The mold throughout the home destroyed everything and it’s unbearable to be around. let alone going through what we can salvage ! unfortunately our renters insurance does not cover rodent damage) a roof caving in, a pool that's caved in, irreplaceable items. The roofers he sent in May entered the house illegally and we now have lost a cell phone, iPad air 2, sentimental deceased moms engagement/wedding diamond ring, bracelets etc, yes the door was pried open and I have pictures of these three in the home with my attic door down and using electric outlets. We've lived for 4 days with no heat in the dead of winter -4 degrees and and another few days of no heat in January. I was ignored and not once was I reimbursed for any repairs, furnace repair man, exterminator,clean up the brick , nails , cement, debris etc left from the fly by night handyman. I've put my 100% into this home only to get scammed. Having temporary repairs made was a must on my dime, as we were ignored. I could not leave it go for our safety.
Unfortunately I never really rented a home and we did not have much time when my house sold, so yes I told the slumlord too much and he saw $$ signs and a desperate single mom. Therefore I learned my lesson not to trust anyone. RESEARCH IS NOW ALL I DO!
Iam at the point where I don't have the time to save enough money to help us with the cost of moving expenses, all our belongings that had to be pitched, and cost to move to a new place to live I had to borrow money. So, we are asking for any help you can give, gift cards for food stores, clothing s we lost 2 seasons of clothing for a family of 4 etc Financially I’m at a dead end and any help at all would be greatly appreciated. By sharing this and with your prayers We see light at the end of the tunnel, but it is still out of reach. Thank you so much, and God Bless from my family to yours !
