B. Martin Medical Assistance

Upon returning home from work on Friday morning, Brandon became weak lost consciousness and fell.  Once taken to Renown, Brooke and Brandon were informed that his pain and faintness were due to a Pulmonary Embolism.
The doctor boldly told Brandon "I don't know how I am shaking your hand right now", the size of the blood clot that went through Brandon's heart should have killed him.
Fortunately that is not the case.  Brandon is still with us, as a father to his girls, as a brother, a son, a significant other and as a friend to so many.

Now he reaches to his friends and family for support.  If all you can offer is company, he is still grateful! But this event came at a time that Brandon is uninsured and he will not be able to leave the hospital until he acquires oxygen and blood thinners, both of which come at a cost.  Without insurance, and with the missed work hours, Brandon and Brooke are struggling to financially obtain these so that Brandon can leave the hospital and be at home with his girls.

Any donation is appreciated. Your contribution could be helping them get diapers or medications, a bill paid or gas in the car.  No contribution is too small.

*05/20/2019 UPDATE: Brandon has now been released from the hospital, but with some crippling restrictions. At this time, doctor's have restricted him from so much activity, that he cannot even pick up his daughters, as his weight restriction is 5lbs. So while Brooke can seek employment to try to support their family, Brandon cannot be at home alone with the girls as they have been informed that he is at serious risk of the remaining clots in his lungs dislodging and traveling to his brain.  His stroke risk is frightening and the family is worried about how to move forward. He currently cannot return to work for a month (if not longer) and upon release from his pulmonary doctor he will need to find a new career choice, as long-haul truck driving will no longer be an option with the severity of his condition.

They wish to thank everyone for the donations that have been made to this point.  Your generosity is a light in a very dark situation.
