Helping the Dogs of Newberry Paws

Newberry PAWS is a small no kill shelter located in Newberry, SC. We are not a 501c3 organization and are funded solely by private individual donations. PAWS takes in abused and homeless dogs. Most of the dogs we get are mixed breeds, but they are loving and would make great pets. A  few of our dogs are in foster homes and we'd love to place many more in foster care.
 
Upon the arrival of new dogs they are are checked for a microchip and if none is found they are vetted, which includes a well check and administering vaccines and heartworm medication. It's almost time for their annual checkups which means it's time for vaccines and heartworm medication refills. We need donations to help cover the costs of those treatments. In addition to the vetting costs we continue to need money to purchase food, cedar shavings, treats and cleaning products.

Some of you have provided food, treats and other items througout the year and the dogs at PAWS appreciate it more than you know. If we are to continue to be able to help abused and homeless dogs we must have some financial assistance from our community.

We would love for some of you to volunteer to foster, or adopt one of our dogs. They are so deserving of families of their own. There are so many ways you can help. NO ONE CAN DO EVERYTHING.....BUT EVERYONE CAN DO SOMETHING.

Every dollar adds up and any amount is appreciated and will be used to meet the needs of the dogs. I know at every turn it seems as if some organization is pleading for your finanScial assistance, but if you can donate any amount it will be appreciated.
