Enfermedad:

Dr. Jorge Diaz suffered 2 heart attacks, the first one on December 20th, 2018. Two stents were placed onto  2 major arteries. The second heart attack was on January 1st, 2019. There was a complication and one of the stents placed was obstructed causing major damage to one of the main heart arteries. Due to his delicate condition, it was recommended by the doctors, that he must have  3 bypass heart surgery asap to save his life. Unfortunately where Dr. Jorge Diaz is from, Venezuela, medical care is very complicated due to the lack of resources in public hospitals, the family doesn't have the resources to have this operation done on a private clinic. This why his family, friends, and colleagues are asking you for your help to save his life. If any more information is needed, feel free to contact me. Thank you for your cooperation.
My name is Edgard Ferrer, I'm a citizen of the United States and Dr. Jorge Diaz is my friend. I was his classmate at the medical school in Maracay, Venezuela from 1974-1977 but I decided to move to Atlanta, Georgia without finishing medical school. Two years ago I was contacted by another doctor and also a former classmate, and put me in contact with all my former classmates through a Whatsapp group. I'm the only person who is not a doctor on that group. I was asked by the group if I could help Dr. Jorge Diaz by opening this account because I'm the only one who qualifies to open this gofundme account. The funds will be sent from my account to the account that the particular or doctor might have in the USA. All the money will go to pay his medical bills. UPDATE :

My name is Edgard Ferrer, I'm a citizen of the United States living in  Powder Springs, Georgia. Dr. Jorge Diaz is a friend of mine and we met in 1974 when we both were students at the medical school in Maracay, Venezuela. We were classmates until 1978, I couldn't finish medical school because I moved to Atlanta, Georgia. It was until two years ago when we were reunited in whatsapp when another Doctor and former classmate found me on Facebook and told me about this whatsapp group composed only by Venezuelan Doctors, my former classmates, I am the only person who is not a doctor but we  all are friends. We continue chatting everyday since 2 years go. After we found out what happened to Dr. Jorge Diaz I was asked by his family and colleagues to help find money for his surgery to save his life and I didn't think twice. I'm the only one who could do that. The funds will be spent solely to pay for his surgery and post surgery treatment and other medical expenses. We know it will be a challenge to send that money directly to him or his family for the situation going on in Venezuela but it shouldn't stop us to collect that money, his life is in danger and could turn to the worse at anytime. We are waiting for words from the clinic and doctors to provide us with their bank accounts they might have in the USA so I can transfer the money there. Right now we cannot waste more time. I will provide anything you might need  to verify who I am. You can also check me on Facebook.
