Hola a todos. Los que me conocéis bien sabéis que soy una enamorada de Uzbekistán y que viajo al país a menudo. Allí conocí a mi buen amigo Nodir, que es guía turístico para grupos de habla hispana y vive en Tashkent, la capital, con su mujer Olga y su bebé de un año.

Nodir fue contagiado de hepatitis B con una aguja mal esterilizada cuando era pequeño, y ahora, recién cumplidos los 32, su hígado está tan deteriorado que su única esperanza es un trasplante.
Yo tengo la suerte de vivir en un país donde se realizan más de mil trasplantes hepáticos al año, y de forma gratuita a través del sistema de la Seguridad Social. Pero las circunstancias en Uzbekistán son muy diferentes, y allí no pueden ayudar a mi amigo.
Él tiene un pariente compatible que está dispuesto a donar parte de su hígado, pero la operación tiene por fuerza que realizarse fuera de su país.
Un hospital en Nueva Delhi lo ha admitido como paciente y le esperan para la intervención, pero hay un obstáculo enorme: el económico.
Necesitaría unos 40.000€ para cubrir los gastos principales del hospital, que incluyen la intervención, las pruebas preliminares y la hospitalización, pero no los vuelos, la estancia pre y post operatoria, tratamientos y consultas posteriores, etc.
Nodir ha pedido ayuda a familiares y amigos, pero os podéis imaginar que esta cantidad es una auténtica fortuna en un país donde el sueldo medio son unos 180€ al mes, y por eso necesita nuestra ayuda.
Os pido a todos, por favor, que me ayudéis a recaudar lo que podamos para hacer que el trasplante se realice y que compartáis esta iniciativa con toda la gente que podáis. Cuantos más seamos más fácil será alcanzar nuestro objetivo y lamentablemente hay que darse prisa porque el tiempo corre en nuestra contra.

Nodir was infected with hepatitis B with a poorly sterilized needle when he was small, and now, just turned 32, his liver is so deteriorated that his only hope is a transplant.
I am lucky to live in a country where more than one thousand liver transplants are performed every year, and free of charge through the Social Security system. But the circumstances in Uzbekistan are very different, and there they can not help my friend.
He has a compatible relative who is willing to donate part of his liver, but the operation has to be done outside his country.
A hospital in New Delhi has admitted him as a patient and they are waiting for the intervention, but there is a huge obstacle: the economic one.
He would need about € 40,000 to cover the main expenses of the hospital, which include intervention, preliminary tests and hospitalization, but not flights, pre and post-intervention stay, treatments and subsequent consultations, etc.
Nodir has asked for help from family and friends, but you can imagine that this amount is a real fortune in a country where the average salary is about € 180 a month, and that's why he needs our help.
I ask all of you, please, to help me raise what we can to make the transplant happen and share this initiative with all the people you can. The more we are, the easier it will be to reach our goal and unfortunately we have to hurry because time runs against us.
