Soy Giovanna, soy una venezolana viviendo en México desde hace 7 años junto con mi mamá, el año pasado recibimos en nuestra casa a dos de mis primos (Rafael y Daniel) que vienen huyendo de la situación en Venezuela y buscando un futuro mejor. Ambos solicitaron refugio en México, sin embargo la Comisión Mexicana de Ayuda a Refugiados (COMAR) aún no da resolución de sus casos, que se han atrasado por los terremotos de Septiembre del 2017 además de la cantidad de trámites que se han introducido, por esto es complicado para ellos conseguir un trabajo, además, Daniel quedó seleccionado en Medicina en la UAEMéx, lo que reduce sus tiempos libres considerablemente. Mi mamá trabaja a través de un esquema de comisiones en el área inmobiliaria debido a que su edad no le permite optar a un empleo fijo.
En Venezuela existe una política llamada control cambiario lo que nos impide sacar el dinero que tenemos allá de forma legal y los precios del dólar en el mercado negro son impagables, por lo que los fondos que tenemos allá y los de nuestros familiares no pueden traerse a México y si los lográramos sacar, se disolverían totalmente por la tasa de cambio.
En abril de 2018 conseguí mi primer empleo que me permitía mantener a mi familia y los gastos de la casa además que se realizaría por parte de la empresa la afiliación a migración para que yo pudiera cambiar mi estatus de estudiante a residente, en mayo de 2018 me gradué de mi segunda carrera universitaria y por fin empecé a dedicarme 100% a mi empleo. En agosto, la empresa admitió que no se registraría en migración por situaciones externas así como que no tenían certeza de si mi área seguiría existiendo o no. Me solicitaron que dejara de asistir a trabajar a partir de la primera semana de septiembre hasta que tuvieran respuesta respecto al estatus del área de marketing y aunque no es un despido oficial, empecé de inmediato a buscar otro trabajo. Aún no lo consigo.
El problema que tenemos en nuestros hombros ahorita es que en los últimos años hemos vivido en la misma casa, que rentamos desde 2012. En agosto de este año, el dueño de la casa nos solicitó salir, lo que significa que tenemos hasta finales de este mes para mudarnos. Lo que hace difícil esta situación es que casi todas las rentas piden un mes de depósito y uno de renta, una cantidad de dinero con la que no contamos ahorita. Todo lo recaudado se utilizará para pagar los gastos de depósito y mudanza. Por favor ayúdanos a mantenernos unidos.
Estos fondos serán retirados por el hermano de Rafael, José Carlos, en Canadá y luego transferidos a nosotros.

I am Giovanna, I am a Venezuelan and I have been living in Mexico for seven years along my mother, last year we got in our home two of my cousins (Rafael and Daniel) who are running away from Venezuela's situation and pursuing a better future. Both of them requested refugee in Mexico, however, the Comisión Mexicana de Ayuda a Refugiados (COMAR) still hasn't given a resolution to their cases, which have been delayed by the earthquakes of September 2017 and the quantity of requests that have been introduced, due to this, it is hard for them to get a job, besides, Daniel got selected for Medicine in the UAEMéx, which greatly reduces his free time. My mom works through commissions in the realty area because her age doesn't allow her to get a permanent job.
In Venezuela there is a policy known as control cambiario (exchange control) which impedes us from getting money out of Venezuela in a legal way and the rates of dollar in the black market are unpayable, therefore, all the money we and our family have there can't be brought to Mexico and even if we could find a way to get it out, it would dissolve completely due to exchange rates.
In April 2018 I got my first job, which allowed me to maintain my family and the house expenses and the enterprise was going to affiliate to migration in order to allow me to change my legal status from student to resident, in May 2018 I graduated my second career and I started dedicating solely to the job. In August, the enterprise admitted they were not going to register for migration due to external situations, as well as saying they weren't certain if my working area would keep existing or not. I was asked to stop assisting to work from the first week of September until they had an answer regarding my area's status and though I wasn't formally getting fired, I started looking for another job right away. I still haven't got it.
The problem we have at out shoulders right now is that in the last years we have been living at the same house, which we have been renting from 2012. In August we got asked by the owner to leave the house, which means we have until the end of the month to move out. What is making this situation so difficult is that all the house rentals ask for one month of rental and one month as a deposit, and we don't have that amount of money right now. Everything donated will be using for those expenses and the move out. Please help us keep together.
These funds will be withdrawn by Rafael's brother, Jose Carlos, in Canada and then transferred to us!
