AYÚDANOS A COMPARTIR EL MENSAJE // HELP US SHARE THE MESSAGE
Catalina y yo estabamos viajando por Nicaragua cuando encontramos Casa Congo, una ONG que se basa en la conservación del medio ambiente y ayudando a las familias de el Astillero.
Nos enamoramos del proyecto y decidimos quedarnos por un tiempo, ya son 2 meses desde que llegamos, la razón es sencilla: este lugar está formado por familias increíbles llenas de amor y que comparten todo lo que tienen aunque no sea mucho.
Desde que llegamos hemos iniciado diferentes proyectos; con los niños hemos echo desde clases de inglés, lectura, pintura, pulseras hasta de natación ,juegos educativos, cine y baile.
Por otra parte Catalina inició una panaderia con Dina y Alicia, dos madres luchadoras con el objetivo de sacar sus familias adelante, y yo he estado ayudando a Casa Congo con la comunicación y su página web.
Estamos muy felices de estar aquí y ayudar en todo lo que podemos, sin embargo ahora esta comunidad está pasando por un momento difícil por la situción del país, lo que hace que surjan nuevas carencias a las que nosotras no podemos llegar.
Las revoluciones constantes y los muertos en la capital y alrededores han hecho que los transportes de alimentos y gasolina se reduzcan notablemente, lo que hace que el precio de estos suban, y consecuencia de esto la economía del pueblo practicamente se ha detenido, la gente aquí no tiene dinero para comprar comida.
Por esta razón hemos decidido iniciar esta campaña para recaudar suficiente dinero como para ayudar a familias muy cercanas a nosotras a salir adelante.
El dinero será invertido para comprar comida y otras necesidades básicas para estas familias.
La fecha límite es 9 de Julio, una semana antes de que Catalina y yo nos vayamos de el Astillero.
Cualquier aportación por pequeña que sea, aquí significa muchísimo,

HELP US SHARE THE MESSAGE
Catalina and me were travelling through Nicaragua when we encounter Casa Congo, an NGO that protect the environment and empower the families of el Astillero.
We felt in love with the project and decided to stay, it's already two months that we spent here for this reason: this place is made of amazing families filled with love and that share everything even if they do not have much.
Since we arrived we helped with different programs; we worked with the kids teaching english classe, reading, art, and craft making, swimming, educative games, cinema and dancing.
At the same time Catalina started a bakery with Dina and Alicia, two mothers of Astillero, with the goal of sustaining their families, and I am helping Casa Congo with communication and the web page.
We are very happy to be here helping as much as we can, however now this community is going through a difficult times due to the country instable situation, unfortunately a turmoil that we cannot control.
The constant uprising and the deaths in Managua and other major towns made gas and food transportation very difficult. This led to higher prices and negative consequences of this small fishing village. People here do not have money to buy day to day food.
For this reasons we have decided to start this campaign to gain sufficient money to help families very close to us.
All the funds will be used to buy food and first necessity goods for the families.
The ending date is on the 9th of July, a week before Catalina and I will leave Astillero
No matter what the amount, every donation even the smallest ones will travel a long way and help us a lot.
