Academic Warriors  https://www.academicwarriors.com/ is an online school for autistic, gifted and special needs students throughout the world. We have students from throughout the world and in the United States.  Most of our students are homeschooled but we do have some that are in the public and charter school system. 

Our unique teaching approach has helped our students to thrive in academic, emotional and social environments. We believe it takes a village to raise a child. Academic Warriors promotes teacher, parent and student interaction to an educational experience that is best for the student. We also personalize lessons with teaching methods that work best for the student. Our lessons provide real life experience, projects and opportunities for the students to take on a leadership role. Teachers encourage open communication with the student, even after the session has ended. We also teach our students to think and question when presented with new information.  

Our teaching methods have worked. We have a retention rate between 76 - 90%. Students love learning at Academic Warriors. We have been sponsored by Flylady.net, Highland Reign, Basecamp, Classcraft and Nate Orlowek. We are recognized as a private school by Scholastic, BookIt! and Tyson Project A+. 

Academic Warriors is raising funds so we can offer three scholarships to autistic students who are in financial need.

We would also like to develop a Young Artist Program, Young Historian Program and a Mock United Nations so we can continue teaching leadership skills to our students. We also needs funds for our Young Authors Program. Our Young Authors Program allows students to learn how to write short stories, children's books and novels from a bestselling author. The students then professionally publish their work through Crimson Sparrow, the publishing house owned by Academic Warriors. All these programs have financial costs that we need help with. 

We also need financial help with our technology.  We use our MacBook Pro to create marketing materials for our school, teach creative arts, edit videos and edit photography for the school. Our MacBook Pro broke and we need the funds to help us repair and get another one. We also have a Compaq Presario business computer that needs repairs.
