The 18-25 window of life is an exceptionally important period of development for us as we move on from being our parents child, to the person we hope to become. Along the way, new experiences challenge old beliefs, our brains develop rapidly allowing abstract thinking to explode. New freedoms allow for great opportunities to succeed and to fail. And as young adults contemplate things like meaning, intimacy, relationships, joy and purpose, they often move through these times in a far different worldview than the one they grew up in.
Awake and Alive has been encouraging young adults with 4 opportunities/year to gather as a generation to find inspiration, encouragement and Christian community while dealing with topics that are impacting how they see the world and how they see themselves. This year we have opened up the opportunity to young men and women from across the country as well as leaders of young adult ministries. This winter we are doing a 2 day conference held at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, WI and are eagerly looking forward to shining the light of Jesus and the hope we have in Christ.
To do this well and to have the best foundation for the future, we ask that you would help us support young adults through this encouragement. All donations will be processed through St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Muskego, WI and are tax deductible. Every donation matters and can go a long ways in helping create a sustainable opportunity to encourage young men and women in the 18-25 time of their lives. Registrations are not tax deductible, but are a great way to help someone attend who might not have the means or encouragement to come.
