Senior Trip

We, as students of American Indian Public High School, have been planning our prom and senior trip for some time now. However, we have run into one of the most important issues: money. All of the students at our school work very hard to do well in classes. As seniors, this is the last year of high school for us. We want to graduate feeling like we've come away with great knowledge and life-changing experiences. 

One experience include visiting Yosemite National Park. As students of an urban community communing in nature, engaging in team building activities, we will be able to bond through activities and learn about the history of the park. This would be a perfect opportunity for a end-of-the-year school trip. Not only will the students be able to work together, it will also be educational through the Park Ranger-led activities where we will learn about constellations, nocturnal animals and the general ecosystem of Yosemite.

We plan to have transportation, tour guides, and even lodging.
In addition to this proposed trip to Yosemite, we are also seeking money to help pay for our prom, which is open to grades 10-12, along with other field trips for the other grades.
We have been working hard to fundraise for the school trip and prom, including selling food at school and planning other activities, like a Lip Sync Battle between students and teachers. However, we need all of your help. Please donate to help make this trip possible.
