Avon Lions Centennial Clock Project

The Avon Lions Club has been serving our community for almost 65 years and Lions International is celebrating 100 years of service. Whether it’s providing glasses to those unable to afford them, vision screening to children or support for the food pantry, the Avon Lions are there. Scholarships, Guide Dogs, Medical Loan Closet and much more, the Avon Lions carry’s out our motto; “We Serve”. Be it local or international, Lions are there providing needed help and support to those in need.
To celebrate the 100th year of service of Lions International, the Avon Lions Club plans to erect a beautiful clock that will stand over sixteen and a half feet tall on the SW island of the circle. The Avon Lions have been working with both the Town and Village Boards and the Parks Department on the planning of this project to insure the best location. Imagine how great it will look from the circle or Genesee Street to see a clock that will be lasting testament of the Lions commitment to serving the community.
To date, the club and it's members have already committed over $7,000 towards the goal, Won’t you please show your support of the work of the Avon Lions Club by supporting this project and help us leave a great gift to the community that will be here for years to come.
