Help Westbury Little League

Tax deductible
Westbury Little League in southwest Houston has sent many young men to play ball at Rice University. Brian Boyne starred on the Westbury Little League National Championship team of 1966 and then played at Rice. Jose Cruz Jr played on the 1986 Westbury District championship team before starring at Rice and then for 12 years in the big leagues. There were three Westbury Little League alums on the 2003 Rice National Championship team (Enrique Cruz, Steven Herce, and Matt Ueckert). There were others and hopefully some Owls in the making are at Westbury now.

Westbury Little League is fully self-funded, operating without help from any municipality. Each spring Westbury holds a gala at which many things are auctioned including the right to fly one’s college/university flag over the complex for one year.

We have endured LSU, A&M, and now UT in successive years. It is Rice’s turn!

Help honor the Westbury to Rice connection by donating today! Let’s raise enough Rice money to hoist the Old English R!

We are a 501(c)(3) and your gift is fully tax deductible. Whether or not the R flies your donation will help Westbury continue to mold good citizens and ball players.

Thank you!
