Austin’s Helmet

Austin was diagnosed with torticollis on his right side (can only turn head to the left) which caused plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome). We went to physical therapist to get his neck loose and she said his head was flat and to see a specialist. We went to Cranial Technologies for a free evaluation and they discovered he has a moderate to severe case. They came back and said insurance doesn’t cover the helmet.  They gave us an offer of $2,000. I explained to them our situation and told them we couldn’t afford that. They made me fill out a “hardship” form  and came back with $1400. I have paperwork in with the insurance company to appeal but have been told it’s, “highly doubtful”. We are asking our friends and family to help us and our little man get a round head. I don’t know what else to do! Anything will help!
